Our Services

We manage the grant process so you can focus on impact!

Grant Readiness

Most nonprofits assume they’re ready for grants, but even the best programs go unfunded without the proper infrastructure. Funders don’t just look at your mission. They examine your capacity to manage funding, measure impact, and sustain programs.

If your organization isn’t grant-ready, it could delay funding opportunities by years while other organizations with more substantial infrastructure move ahead.

Our Grant Readiness Audit identifies what’s missing, what needs strengthening, and how to position your social service nonprofit as a top funding candidate. Instead of wasting time on unsuccessful applications, let’s ensure your organization is fully prepared to win grants now—without unnecessary delays.

Grant Prospect Research

Not all grants are created equal. Applying for the wrong funding opportunities can waste valuable time and resources—leading to frustration and rejection. At McGee KC Consulting, we take the guesswork out of finding the right funders by conducting in-depth grant prospect research tailored to your nonprofit’s mission, programs, and funding goals.

Grant prospect research saves time by allowing social service nonprofits to focus on funders who are the best fit rather than blindly applying to every opportunity. It increases success rates by ensuring that applications are well-aligned with funders’ priorities, making them more likely to be funded. Understanding a funder’s giving history and priorities strengthens relationships, helping nonprofits build long-term partnerships beyond a single grant. Additionally, a targeted funding approach reduces grant fatigue, preventing burnout from applying to every possible grant and ensuring a more efficient and strategic use of resources.

Let’s find the right funders for your nonprofit! Our expert prospect research team gives you a clear, strategic roadmap to funding opportunities that align with your mission.

Grant Proposal Writing

A well-written grant proposal is more than just an application—it’s a compelling case for support that convinces funders why your social service nonprofit deserves their investment. At McGee KC Consulting, we write clear, persuasive, and funder-focused grant proposals highlighting your organization’s impact, sustainability, and alignment with funding priorities.

Our approach goes beyond filling out forms. We tell your nonprofit’s story in a way that resonates with funders, blending data-driven insights with emotional impact to create a powerful narrative. We ensure that every proposal is tailored to the specific funder, following their guidelines while maintaining a strong and authentic voice for your organization. Whether you need a first-time application, a renewal request, or a major competitive grant, we provide the expertise to craft compelling, well-structured, and highly competitive proposals.

Are you ready to submit winning proposals that stand out? Let’s collaborate to craft applications that speak to funders and drive results.

Grant Management

Winning a grant is just the beginning. How you manage it determines whether funders will continue to invest in your nonprofit. Effective grant management ensures compliance, accountability, and a strong relationship with funders, increasing the likelihood of future funding. At McGee KC Consulting, we take the burden off your team by tracking deadlines, managing reporting requirements, and ensuring proper fund utilization so you stay in good standing with funders.

Through our expert support, your social service nonprofit can avoid common compliance pitfalls, strengthen financial stewardship, and focus on running programs—without worrying about complex grant requirements. With McGee KC Consulting as your grant management partner, you can be confident that your funding is handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
